You're An Artist

Have you ever given much thought to creating an eye look that would match your bag? I know that may sound strange but hear me out...

Anyone that knows me knows I'm a bit of a "bag lady." Now I'm not talking about someone with a bunch of stuff in their bag. I mean I have a closet full of purses, handbags, clutches and totes. I have all sizes and colors. I mean I probably have the whole spectrum of the rainbow in my closet.

There's a certain art to handbags. I have a style entirely unique from other people. I love large bags, crossbow bags and clutches. I guess you could also say I'm a bit of a bag addict. Yes I have a real problem. I go into a store, see a cute bag and think "I've got to have that." Nevermind the fact that I have probably 40 other bags almost like it. Okay I'm exaggerating I probably have 40 total bags, not 40 of one kind.

But as I take a look at all of those bags; from the grays, greens, purples, pinks, and teal...I realize that I have eyeshadow that matches perfectly to each one. I also find that more often than not I'm matching my eye look to my bag color.

Maybe that it just coincidence or maybe I'm intentionally doing it. Whatever the case, it's kind of a fun way to express myself artistically. I'm not a real artist and sometimes my fashion sense isn't all that great but I'm becoming more aware of fashion as it relates to my makeup.

When you wear makeup you are making a statement. You're an artist that starts with a blank canvas and can experiment and create a look entirely all your own. The same holds true with fashion. You wear items and pieces that express who you are.

So the next time you pick up your bag or that eyeshadow brush think of it as a chance to be uniquely you for that day.

Sunshine Voxbox Review

So once again, Influenster has sent me a Voxbox to review. I was not paid to write this review and these opinions are my own.

So what was in this Voxbox?

Blue Diamond Sriracha Almonds
Vaseline Spray Moisturizer
Sinful Colors Nail Polish in Southern Belle
Dickinson's Witch Hazel Face Wipes
Infusium 23 Leave in Moisture Replenisher
Coupon for BarkThins snacking chocolate

Okay, so I was a bit upset that there were no actual BarkThins in the box but there was a coupon for a free bag.

So here's my review on each item:
Blue Diamond Sriracha almonds - so delicious. If you love spicy flavor then these are for you.

Vaseline Spray Moisturizer - At first it was hard to apply this. Lotion shot out of the can and onto the floor. I actually found it easier to hold the can closer to my leg and then spray. It did rub in quickly and didn't feel greasy. The scent I got was Aloe so I'm thinking this would be great as an after sun lotion.

Sinful Colors Nail Polish - I'm already an avid Sinful Colors nail polish user so this was an added bonus to have another color in my collection.

Dickinson's Witch Hazel Face Wipes - where have these been all my life? So good at removing makeup however they can be a bit drying to your face so I would recommend using these no more than every other day. They are not good for sensitive eyes as they can sting them so be careful.

Infusium 23 Leave in Replenisher - I've always loved Infusium 23 products so was super ecstatic to try this. At first I thought it would weigh my hair down. Boy was I wrong! It's very lightweight feeling in your hair and doesn't make it feel greasy. It smoothed my hair and even acted as a detangler for wet hair.

All in all, I'm very pleased with this box. Definitely everything was worth it and I may purchase some of these items again after I run out.
